One of the things that I love about photographing weddings is seeing the way couples choose how they want their day to go. Where they choose to exchange their vows, what they want to wear, how much they chose to spend and what could be struck from the list of wedding ‘musts’ and ‘to do’s’. […]
"A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people." - Annie Leibovitz
Photography isn't about business for us. We've never taken anyone on that we haven't fallen a little bit in love with. If you love someone, then you can't help but take care of them.
We've seen the photographers that do this as a business. They're the ones who've been saying the same thing over and over to every couple, every weekend for twenty years. They're the ones who take the same shots at every wedding because they don't have a creative bone left in their bodies.
We never ever want to become that. We don't want to feel like business women following you around on your wedding day. If that feeling ever comes, we won't be doing this anymore.
We never want you to feel like you're "just another couple".
We want you to like us a lot, because on your wedding day we're with you the entire time.
We want what we do to extend well beyond your big day.
We want to be responsible for the moment fifty years down the track when you look back on your wedding photos and say "Ah! THAT'S why we fell in love".
