Get ready to go eat some dessert after this post!
There are SO many amazing details to see in Caylee and Mick’s wedding, but the things that blew us away (besides Caylee’s stunning lace dress) were the extraordinary flowers by Flowerflower in Fitzroy and the amazing dessert buffet made by…wait for it…18 year old Addison Landry (only a year out of high school she’s just started to study pastry at William Angliss). The care and imagination that went into these things saw us leaving Fitzroy Town Hall with our jaws dragging on the footpath the entire way down Brunswick street!
I heard from another of our brides-to-be that the florists at Flowerflower will make you love flowers, no matter who you are. Well that must be true because I left this wedding and went immediately to my local flower sellers and turned my house into an Autumnal floral extravaganza. And on a dessert related note, right now I cannot stop thinking about lemon tarts, so apparently Addison Landry will make you love her baking!!!
Ok, enough about the flowers and dessert! You’ll soon see what I’m talking about!
Thank you so much Caylee and Mick – this was one of those most creative, joyous and well put together weddings we have ever been invited to photograph. Your love, and the love of your family and friends shines through your day and we were so honoured to be involved.
Love Katie & Sarah xo
PS – if anyone is interested in hiring Addison to cater the dessert for their wedding, we are more than happy to get you in touch!
