So here it is folks, the Packing Shed Wedding we have been dying to share with you all. A wedding so epic, it was almost impossible to fit into one blog post.
Renee + Dave grew up in Shepparton and Renee’s family have been in the fruit business for years (we even headed to the old SPC factory during portrait time to pay homage). So when it came time to plan their wedding, there was no question that it was going to be held on their family’s property. In their fruit packing shed. The very same shed that is usually home to forklifts, semi trailers and huge industrial machinery.
But they had a vision, so they brought in the big guns. A team of stylists, caterers, dressmakers, florists, musicians, waiters, chefs, forklift drivers, videographers and chefs (have I missed anyone?) so large it almost rivalled the amount of guests. If we were wearing hats, we would absolutely take them off to the incredible team from The Style Co who arrived three days early to transform the shed into a magical extravaganza (no more words needed, we’ll just let the photos speak for themselves) while the team at Tommy Collins busted out their best cocktails, food, smiles and the coffees that fuelled our long drive home. The talented groom even stepped in to relieve the band to sing a few songs himself, one for the father and daughter dance, and then his own surprise song for Renee which was honestly the best thing we’ve heard since Adam Sandler wooed Drew Barrymore on a plane with “I want to grow old with you”.
It was epic, it was beautiful. But we’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.
Love Katie + Sarah xo
